My New Motorcycle

March 30, 1999

As you may have seen already, I used to ride an 83 Sabre 750. It was a great cruising bike... but it was time to move on. I searched long and hard for what kind of bike I truly should get. I fooled myself into trying a couple of different bikes; I knew all along what I really wanted: a Honda vfr.

So I got one. Here it is, in all it's glory.

It's a 1991 Honda vfr 750 Interceptor. Water cooled, v4 engine, 16k miles, and an absolute dream to ride. Hey, even my nephew's been on it(don't tell his mother!).

Dirk really liked the bike a whole bunch. Actually, Alek and I were distracted, and Dirk tried to take off all by himself. Luckily, we managed to stop him in time - after all, he doesn't have a motorcycle license!

So this is my new bike. Yes, it did cost me a pretty penny. But it's worth it - it's definitely the bike I want to have. The hard part will be selling it... but I don't want to think about that right now - I just want to enjoy it as it is. :-)

Wonder what it sounds like?
