I am currently in an engineering class called statics. The problems are often not that difficult, but rather long and tedious. It was 2 in the morning and I was working on one particular problem that was rather rigorous. After finding the answer, it asked a second part, "Where can this force go on the object?" Well, the answer is that you can place the force anywhere on the object. In my 2AM, sleep-deprived state, I scribbled down an answer, folded it up, and went to sleep. I turned it in and promptly forgot about it the next day. When I got the paper back, it was quite a surprise to say the least.
I'm not sure if the TA that graded it is male or female. I think I touched a nerve, though. I'm surprised they didn't grade me off though.... 10 out of 10!
