My roommate Shaun and I were getting stressed out by school, lack of sleep, too many girls, etc. What better way to get rid of the malaise we were in than to go on an early morning ride!
7AM in the morning, cold as the dickens. Shaun is prepping the bike to make sure the shocks don't fall off.

We cruised up the canyon road to Nederland. Man it was cold though! We had to stop here and do some calisthenics to warm up.

A quick run in full motorcycle regalia later, we were witness to the fantastic Boulder falls!

Of course, Shaun didn't enjoy it as much as I did. :-)

After the short diversion, we cruised farther up the mountain road. Lots of fun - lots of twisties, no cars, and a clear road surface. Dang it was cold though! We stopped at this lake, as sunny as it is, because we had to again warm up - we're above 9000 feet at this point, so it is quite chilly.

Another lonely road and forty-five minutes later, we hit the gambling town of Central City. We weren't there to hit the jackpot, just some cheap food to fill the stomach. Problem was, Sunday morning hardly anything was open!

It's a beautiful town, though, with a lot of old architecture. Shaun and I really wanted to go in here, too bad it was closed!

It took us a full hour to find a casino that would serve us, as minors. What a pain... but the meal we finally did find was fairly good and more importantly, dirt cheap.
Back on the open road. You can see it was quite a beautiful day.

We took another canyon road(6) home, and were back in time to catch the broncos play! It was a great stress reliever and a fun ride for sure.
